Hello, I am trying to upload a file to my home page via Netscape composer.
Have setup .htpasswd and added a user name pjlewis and password.
After initial permissions errors I ended up witha 500 error.
My log shows:-
/home/pjlewis/public_html/.htpasswd: Invalid command 'pjlewis:QUcbOxqpaEhJM', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
My .htpasswd reads:-
pjlewis:QUcbOxqpaEhJM
Two questions,
1) any one make a suggestion and
2) is there a tutorial (somewhere) that gives a blow-by-blow method of the 'correct' way.
