C++ and Visual C++.....

I'm a beginner in this subject, so don't get frustrated when I ask this question.
What is the difference between C++ and Visual C++ ?

Excuse my bad english, but I'm from sweden.

Visual C++ is Microsoft's C++ implementation. It comes with Win32 libraries and headers, and a "nice" IDE to work in.

Other compilers, such as gcc (free!) come with all the standard ANSI libraries, without the Win32 overhead.
