PostgreSQL under Windows 2000/NT

Yeah you heard it right http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/smile.gif That's what i want, dont ask me why, i just want to ok? http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/smile.gif

HOW?!

1) Is there a Windows NT/2000 distribution?

2) I read somthing about Cygwin or something? What the hell is that? Keep in mind I have zero experience on Linux http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/smile.gif

Thanks in advance,

Hans

1) I don't know ifthere is such a thing. I couldn't find it on their site.

2) Cygwin is, palinly put, gcc for Windows. Its a C/C++ compiler that is free and open-source. Many people use it when writing programs for Windows platfrom, because Borland Builder or MS VisualC++ cost a lot of money...

If you do find anything like this, post it back on the forum, please!!
