apply control server in replication not starting in DB2V8 ,encountering timeout
I am planning to setup a replication i DB2(version 8) on redhat linux 8.0.
I have created 2 database's locally in the same server and trying to replicate between the two.
I have done up with the steps of creating capture and apply program.
When i start the capture control server it starts fine without any errors.
When i start the Apply control server, i get an error saying
" asnacmd control_server=TGT_DB APPLY_QUAL=\"APPY1\" status
Program encountered a timeout while waiting for reply Messages"
Can anyone help me in setting up replication and how to overcome this error.
Nothing is getting replicated from source db to Target db now.
