Anyone gotten x0rfbserver to work on BSD?

This is a port of VNC that allows you to use it more like the Windoze version of VNC. (Like pcAnywhere, without the frequent crashes :D ). The BSD/UNIX/Linux version of VNC opens another display, so it won't let you run VNC on display 0. x0rfbserver has solved this problem and lets you run remotely control display 0.

x0rfbserver has Linux and Solaris support but wondering if anyone has gotten it to work in BSD yet...

I wrote the developer, but haven't heard back. (He has better things to do than to help lazy admins like me). :D

Thanks.

I know that this thread is old, but does anyone have a link to download x0rfbserver. the web site is no longer available.

I'm searching for it too, anyone knows where to download it ?

I haven't tried this on *BSD, but it looks promising.

BYW I did setup and use x0rfbserver on a FreeBSD system last year.

"x2x" is not an option?
