Just the basic stuff really. Content management bits and pieces, client contact databases, occasional clever things like flash/php/xml integration projects for similar things as the first 2.
We are talking occasional jobs, not a fulltime workload (yet).

BTW, your site is practically useless in mozilla 1.0. While mozilla is admittedly low on the totem pole for usage, when it renders pages badly it can be indicative of greater problems.

Ya, forgive me for not giving a ****tola about Nutscrape. I have been wrestling with its inequities since the day V4 was released (a handful of days before Christmas 97 - a 'present' to the online community. hah!). They did so well with V3, it is really all quite sad.
Are you saying it is cropping the top off my page without producing scroll bars? I guess I will have to put a warning up saying 'use netscape at your own risk', although I figure most users would be painfully aware of this.

What you see in the screenshot was exactly what your HTML rendered (or should I say failed to render).
I function in the real world of not being able to dictate what web browsers folks use. I don't have the luxury of turning away 20% to 30% of web users by creating incompatible HTML, and I usually think of it as a service when folks point out defiencies (sp?) in my HTML. Apparently, that's not the world you operate in.
And mozilla is the most standards compliant browser out there- I enjoy using it MUCH more than I ever did IE. Pop-up suppression, fast (and pretty!) page rendering, tabbed browsing, excellent CSS support, and an excellent HTML editor to boot.
And it's a great platform for testing designs, with a built in javascript console and DOM inspector that are both actually useful. You really should check it out, it's a sweet browser and can help you make your pages render better everywhere.
My guess is that this happened because you didn't put in a DTD, and Mozilla is rendering your pages "stricter" BTW, IE6 needs a DTD to render your pages the way you expect them too. . .
Oh now don't go getting all precious on me, I did say thanks for posting the screeny.
Unfortunately you have to accept in the world of web publishing that you can only please some of the people some of the time. My weblogs show the combination of _all_ versions of netscape accounts for less than 5% of my web traffic. If I was webmastering amazon.com don't doubt that I would be 100 times more rigorous. But for my tiny little self promo site - aimed at business managers purely, IE is the weapon of choice, and by limitting my compatibility to it I lower my workload dramatically.
Web publishing is a harsh world today, with little room for luxuries. You gotta be pragmatic you know.
I'll be doing a redesign at some stage and hopefully then I will be able to afford the time to achieve some broader compatibility. But do you think my time would be better spent doing that or getting out and meeting new prospective clients?

I'm trying very hard here not to draw a lot of mean-spirited comparisons between low-brow clientele and the low-brow browsers they use... whoops... too late.
Well, in the event that you ever decide to target intelligent people who use good browsers, I recommend listening to Hero ;)
BTW... out of those 5% of hits, you could easily be turning away 25% of your business.... you have know way of knowing...

Actually... my current project renders almost the same in IE, Mozilla, Opera, and Netscape... at 1024x768 res or higher.. oh... and there are only a few minor discrepancies when it's rendered at 800x600, but it's certainly not mangled or anything...
