We have been retained by a prominent IT company to provide them with AIX, Linux Administrators. They are a part of an US based IT major with their Indian operations based at Bangalore. Expertise on any of these would be a differential advantage - Clearcase, HP Service Desk, Unicenter TNG. The following are the various requirements available:
Requirement - 1
AIX Administrator
1. Expert AIX Sys. Admin skills, with experience on AIX 5.1 as well.
2. Able to Install, configure, trouble shoot and resolve most AIX issues.
3. Routine Admin tasks like adding packages, patches, kernel parameters etc.,
4. Experience in NIS, NFS, Automount and DNS is a must
Optional Requirement:-
· Certification in AIX

Linux Administrator
1. Expert Linux Sys. Admin skills
2. Able to load OS via kickstart or custom config definitions
3. Able to trouble shoot and resolve most Linux issues including desktop and server, network and infrastructure
4. Leadership in technical standards (h/w and s/w), images and configuration definitions including kernel and patches
5. Experience in NIS, NFS, Automount and DNS is a must
Optional Requirement:-
· Certification in specific OS (i.e. Red Hat) and other industry standard programs (i.e. Linux Professional Institute);
· Support to other technical areas involving Linux platform (i.e. VPN and remote access)
Both the above positions are to be based out of Noida (for a period of 12 months) and the candidate should have 4-5 years of experience
Requirement - 2
HP Service Desk (SD)support.
· Experience: 5-6 Year (1-2 years in SD)
· Hands on experience in Customization, Deployment and Management of SD
· NT (knowledge on Unix would be an advantage)
· Perl / Shell Scripts and VB (knowledge of Crystal Reports would be an advantage)
· Integration with OV Tools or Remedy or Tivoli or Unicenter TNG
Requirement - 3
Sr. Engineer - HP OpenView
* HP OVO on Unix, Perl and Shell Scripting, HP UX expertise
* Experience: 4-5, (relevant 2-3 Yrs)
Both the above positions (2&3) will be based at Bangalore.
