Online form that goes directly to a fax #

Hi,
One of my clients wants to have an online form that a customer can fill out and when they hit submit, there's a copy that is directly sent to a fax machine.

I know there are products where you can send fax to emails and emails to fax (ie: efax.com), but I have no idea if it's possible to have an online form done where it sends a copy to a fax number.

If someone knows where this can be done or if they can do it, please contact me ASAP or post a message here.

Thanks!

If you have an efax account then all you should have to do is have your online form use your efax email account as the from: and use the appropriate To: syntax (<fax#,etc.>@efax.com ??) as defined on efax.com. Should be pretty basic, really.

Well there are many online fax services online, there are free and paid ones. If you are just trying to send a single fax, i suggest looking for free fax services. The downside of free online fax services is that, there will definitely be advertisement in which the receiver will receive. So be very cautious about faxing to companies and business using free online fax services.

Also there are a variety of paid online fax service. Please bear in mind that these services all work the same way but if you are going to use a popular online fax service, you should realize that sometimes your fax will take a while to be delivered.
I would really suggest selecting less traffic online fax services that aren't congested.

Anyway, uberjay mention, it is indeed very simple to use an online form and get it faxed directly once you hit the submit button. Most of the online fax services online could assist you with the require codes. Just ask the support!

I know this is very old, but I have a new client that needs the same thing. Email isn't working for them well, so they would like to go back to this way. They used to have a service that provided this for doctors offices, but it isn't available any more. I talked to EFax this morning and they said it won't work that way. Any other ideas?

Thanks!
