In my Linux Sys Admin classes at school I was under the impression that LDAP was rather difficult to grasp so we didn't cover it that much. Now I can't wait to learn to use it.
This article is very good, I hope there will be a follow up about usage of LDAP for single sign on (something like LDAP for Proftpd, Samba, Apache, Qmail)

This is a great article that provides an introduction to LDAP. It's very easy to read and the arthur has done a great job in writing with a humorous style.

Wish there was a global Yellow Pages so that you could find people on the Web quicker? LDAP might just be what you're looking for. In this introductory tutorial, get up to speed on basic LDAP concepts, including the LDAP information model, LDAP objects and LDAP naming conventions.
