Just wanted to let you know ... I've been procrastinating for ages on setting up procmail because I didn't feel like reading the manpage. I have to say that this little tutorial we well written, covered the basics, and had pointers for all of the "next steps".

Try specifying the full path to cat, like so:
:0 ^From:.rcory@acedsl.com | (/usr/bin/formail -r ; /bin/cat possible_spam.txt) | /usr/sbin/sendmail -oi | -t
no luck different error tried path for mail_msg as well
