Lotus Notes Schema for Linux LDAP Server

Hi!

My Chef wants me to create an Lotus Notes adressbook on a Linux LDAP-Server. My Problem is now to find a schema for this adressbook.

Can anyone tell me where I can find an Schema for my Server or how I can create my own schema?

Thanks

Do you already have Notes up and running?
It can expose an LDAP interface, no need to put up another LDAP server on linux (or you can export to LDIF from Notes and import into OpenLDAP on Linux).

Hi Pabloj,

We want to have the adress-Book on a seperat Server because of we want to use this adress-Book also on an IBM AS400 to.

I am an absolute newcomer to LDAP, so I dont know how to export an Notes adressbook to an LDIF-File. Can you help me there, please?

Thanks

Do you mean that the AS400 will query the LDAP server?
But it can query directly the LDAP interface of Lotus!
And this will free you from keeping the two servers consistent.
Look on Lotus site for the docs.

as pabloj wrote, you can do ldap queries direct to a domino server, you have to activate ldap services. I have done this with success, when I have set up Quickplace with ldap authentication against domino.

Search Notes.net for mor information, and look at the redbooks at ibm (www.redbooks.ibm.com if my memory is correct)
