Help!!**beep Codes An19e**

I AM GETTING CONTINUOUS BEEP CODES EVERY 5-6 SECONDS, NEW MB/FIC AN195,NEW MEMORY CORSAIR DDR 256MB,NEW GRAPHICS CARD ECS AG200 8X, ATHLON XP1500 PROCESSOR, SYSTEM DID WORK NOW AFTER CHECKING CONNECTIONS AND REPLACING MEMORY, AND GRAPHICS CARD I CANNOT ANYTHING BUT BEEP CODES---ANY SUGGESTIONS, QUESTIONS, WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED----THANKS

could you list the exact motherboard you have, i could not come up with anything for an195, only gif images of some cartoon. will give a look at what might need to be set if you post this info.

if you have not updated the bios, they have several, and alot of what is listed looks like possible causes for your situation. i would try this first, if you have the latest bios already,your board ahs a fail safe for the cpu temp, if it got to hot, you will have to reset the alarm. or just use the cmos jumper to clear the settings with the power cable unpluged. the thing to remember here, is if it does boot after you restore the default bios, you may have (had) a incorrect bios setting, your cpu is running to hot, not sure of what all you have tried, so will see what you say about the bios update.

cleared cmos, still same beep codes, how can I up grade bios if I cannot boot??

You mentioned beep codes, what was it? Two short, one long, three short? The beeps make a pattern that represents an error code you can look up. Sometimes the problem is as simple as the ram or video card isn't seated properly.

For future reference, all caps hurts to read, don't do that again.
