Free host for phpBB?

If anyone knows were i can find one for phpBB i would greatly aprreasheate it.... and.... it would be better if you all could tell me what to do. ^^;

well i think 2 exist that is well known, but i only remembered one. that is Lycos.

be warned that users must deal with pop ups when viewing your forum.

i'm sure they'll have instrustion on what you need to do, but as far as being able to customize the forum...you are very very restricted.

i know this at least...you can chage that phpbb logo and you can add more forums. he he, that's how restricted it is.

but hey, it's free. can't go wrong with that. the only legal way to deal with the pop-ups and banner is to get a pop-up blocker. or depending on your browser, use it's pop-up blocker utility.

the other way is by breaking their legal term and adding a simple script that prevent the banner and or add from appering...sorry i can't show you that.

i've never had to deal with lycos, but i've reviewed a lot of sites that has dealt with them.

good luck.

www.buildtolearn.com provides CPanel with one-click installation of phpBB.

Have a look!

They offer PHP, mySQL, Perl, Cgi, Domain hosting with a plesk control panel hosted on Linux Redhat 9 servers.

Explain to me why this host is free? Looks dodgy to me, offering free webspace, yet you have to pay $20???

Message sent to moderator.

It's free because there are no monthly payments.
The $20 registration fee is to prevent multiple registrations from a single user. i.e. to prevent abusing the system!
