Does anyone know where I can register a domain for free?
I don't want those to offer free domain registering for a hosting fee, all I want it to register a domain.:confused:
Well I know of one place that lets you register www.name.tk for free but there is a catch. If you choose the free option, they are the owners of the domain and you only get to own the domain if you upgrade it by paying the usual yearly fee that is roughly the same as most other hosts do, or you pay a release-charge which makes you the owner of the domain as well as the upgrading option but it enables you to transfer the domain rather than having to stay with that host.

You can't get a free top-level domain like .com, but you can get a uni.cc, biz.ly, co.nr, com.ru, net.ru, www.dot.tk.
Since you are trying to get something for nothing you won't mind waiting then will you? ;)
