Strang Crash. CPU? Cooloing?

Hello,
I just bought and installed 3 systems. all running 3+GHZ P4HT
each system has 3 fans. 2 run great. the 3rd one will crash and reboot at times. always when i'm on a webpage and click a link. the system will just restart..
the CPU temp is about 82-90F
i check the other 2 systems and they are about the same temp. but stable....
my question is. is this a MB failure or is the CPU to hot?.
it only happens when i click on a link....

thanks for you help

this is the systems that i have

82-90C is too hot. 82-90 F is just fine. If it's under warranty, I'd send it back. Sounds like one is bad.

I don't have an Intel, but 90 is NOT too hot. AMD can go up to 175 F before it stops working. 90 is a joke! My highest was 117 and nothing happened.

I had an duron and it burned out for some odd reason I am preety sure that it never went to 175degrees some one mind explaining to me what *could of happened I did have some heatsink failure.

175 is the max before its completely toasted. The chip can still be damaged at significantly lower temperatures. That is why when oc'ing you are looking for temps below 45C or so, just to be safe. If by "heatsink failure" you mean the fan didn't spin, then yes, the chip could overheat and fry itself in minutes or even less, depending on load. The P4's have an internal diode to shut themselves down before reaching that level of heat, but you do not want to use that as your temperature regulation.

Could you make this happend when running offline applications? Your temprature is fine.

Check your even log (control panel->administrative tools->event viewer). It might say whats happening, and you might have the system set to reboot on error (control panel->system->advanced->startup and recovery), which would make it reboot randomly if there was a major problem.
