Just wanting your opionions on a dual screen graphics card (I have an AGP slot, not sure what it is though, its in a shuttle xpc barebones computer).
Erm, I think 128Mb is lots for what I want (gaming, dvd playback and graphics editing (photoshop, etc).
I need 2 VGA connectors, or, some sort of convertors as I have VGA inputs for my flatscreens. I'd rather have either 2 DVI or 2 VGA to keep the quality of both screens the same.
Try not to break the bank too!!!

I have a Radeon 9500 Pro for my machine at home and it is a dual-head card. Not the best card now, but was pretty good a while back and it does have 128 MB DDR SDRAM. There are much better cards these days and some of them come fairly cheap.
You don't necessarily need a dual head card for dual monitor support. At work, I have one card on an AGP slot and another one on a PCI slot and they work fine. In fact, they might be slightly different models (but same manufacturer).
Personally, I think having the same brands/models of monitors helps a lot more. At work, I have different cards, but same monitors. At home, my dual head card connects to two different monitor brands and they have varying display capabilities :D.
Yea, I have two 17" flatscreens both bought at the same time, same models, etc.
Don't you notice if you have one on AGP and one on PCI, as isn't the AGP the faster one?
Still, is there any noticeable difference in using one monitor on VGA out and one on the DVI, with an adaptor?

The AGP one should be faster, but it's not like I play video games at work :D. The only reason I have a dual monitor setup at work is because it is a lot easier to have two monitors than flip back and forth between applications. So for my setup at work, having one AGP and one PCI card works out good with no noticeable differences.

This is what I use at home. The trouble is that my monitors are different brands, so that's where the main difference comes from. One is a Viewsonic and the other is a cheap no name brand, so I configure them to the least common config. Haven't had any trouble playing Dark Age of Camelot on either one though :)
