kickmail needed or similar

First of all I'm GENUINELY sorry for posting something here that is trying to avoid a mail server rather than use one, but I can find no other forum for it anywhere.

Somewhere there is something called kickmail that I need. It is an executable that runs on a server and constantly checks a folder for new files, when it finds them (text files) it picks them up, parses them giving a resulting email and sends this to an smtp server. It allows you to spit a text file out and ftp it to a server that sends it as an email, helps if your server can't send emails which ours can't.
I believe the exectuable is called kickmail.exe and the products is known as kickmail, kickmail.com appears not to be the right thing and google searches turn up nothing. If anyone could find this program for me I'd be very grateful indeed, HELP!!!
Just to be quite clear, it's kickmail that I need or a program that does EXACTLY THE SAME THING, there are a million other ways I could do this I'm sure but unfortunately this is the missing piece of my jigsaw and I really do have to find this piece of software.

If anyone can help you have my sincerest gratitude, if you know of another forum that may be able to help, please suggest it.

Thanks.

Does this have to be an EXE program?? Looks like you can use a quick perl script to do the same thing using the Mail::Send or Net::SMTP module and a cron job (or cron's equivalent in Windows, I think it's called AT)

If there's no alternative then Perl may have to do, but to be honest, the job's outsourced to me, and they've made it reasonably clear that there are of course other ways of doing it, but not to implement any other way.

Kickmail is a program written in VB, that parses an incoming email folder for files, and parses them an created email messages from them.

I actually authored this program when I worked for Ecometry. Which client needs it?

I know no one has been in this thread for a few years. But I just started a new job with a company that uses Ecometry and kickmail, so if anyone sees this could someone have Rich PM or email me? I can't send PMs yet because im a new member. Thanks
